Title: The Partnership in Primary Science Project

1
The Partnership in Primary Science Project
  • Funded by the Astrazeneca Science Teaching Trust

2
One of the aims of the Partnership in Primary
Science Project was to set up a community of
practice in which continuing professional
development would occur with respect to science
and ICT.
  • The project team met once a month face to face
and maintained online communication during the
    interim period.
  • A by product of the key aim was the creation of
resource materials for teachers and children. The
resource materials have been developed and tried
by the teachers involved in the project.
  • The material in this CDROM, contains video clips
of the teachers explaining how they organised one
    particular theme (classification/rainforests),
some examples of pupils work involving the
Powerpoint, and a brief overview of the lessons.
