Myths and Facts
  • GWC wants only those with 4.0 GPA
  • GPA Changes are for all students, including LVN
  • Its faster and easier to become an LVN then
    finish the RN at GWC
  • I heard you can put in your application with
your last science in progress, and get in the
    wait-list sooner

32
Myths and Facts
  • Ive taken Introductory Statistics and want to
see if I can beat the formula.
  • You can just not submit transcripts from other
colleges so that the repeated sciences are not
shown. Retake them at GWC and get a good grade
    and youre in!
  • Please review ACADEMIC HONTESTY policy!
  • Once you are ineligible, you can never be
    eligible for GWCs program.

33
More Myths and Facts
  • I heard that if you complete a particular LVN
program, you get priority into the LVN-RN
    program.
  • Even if you dont qualify, just apply then
    appeal and youll get in
  • Any class you repeat is held against you.
  • I heard that if you dont keep your orientation
information (either date attended in-person, or
Verification form), you need to do it again
