• The Chicago Cubs have not won the World Series
  since 1908.
• The Cubs came five outs away from the World
  Series when a fan accidentally robbed Moises Alou
  of catching a foul ball.
• The Florida Marlins went on to score many runs
  that inning and win the 2003 National League
  Championship and later the World Series.
• The Curse of the Billy Goat began in 1945 after
  a Cubs fan put a curse on the team.
• He cursed the team because he was not allowed to
  bring his goat in to the stadium to watch Game 4
  of the 1945 World Series.
• The Cubs have not been to the World Series since
  1945.
• The Cubs have sent many players to the Hall of
  Fame, but none since 1908 have entered with a
  World Series ring.
