  • Conscious, but hurt bad

Initial Assessment

  • Is confused and combative
  • Airway is open
  • RR36, ? Cx expansion, paradoxical Cx wall

  • Weak radial pulses at 110
  • Skin pale, cool, moist

  • R. temporal bruising, pupils PERRLA
  • No JVD or tracheal deviation, no C-spine
    deformity, some SQ air noted to neck area
  • ? Cx expansion, ? lung sounds L., unstable
    segment, paradoxical Cx wall motion and open Cx
    wound L.
  • Abdomen soft, LUQ bruising
  • Pelvis stable
  • LLE RLE deformity, swelling, and bleeding from
    large lacerations
  • Back Bruising to L. side of thoracic area
  • Pulse 110, BP 96/62, RR 36
  • Medic alert bracelet says Hx AFib and HTN
