HLST Network What is it?

• Established in 2000
• Focus on HE (including HE in FE)
• 1 of 24 subject networks that previously made up
  the Learning and Teaching Support Network (LTSN)
• Aim to encourage and broker the sharing of good
  learning and teaching practice across our subject
  areas of UK higher education

HLST Network What does it do?

• Resources - mixture of print and electronic but
  almost everything accessible from the website
• Projects bidding for funds to run our own (e.g.
  employer engagement) and offer funds for academic
  departments to run small-scale projects and now
  Subject Specific Guides
• Events workshops, conferences, meetings etc
• Brokerage/liaison e.g new 14-19 Diplomas
