Case Study of Coventry
  • 6 areas of Coventry have been identified-
  • Hillfields
  • Earlsdon
  • Hillfields (redevelopment)
  • Finham
  • Wood end
  • Wyken
  • Each of the areas fits typically into a zone
    from our Urban models studied in a previous
    lesson
  • You will need the maps / photos and diagrams-
    cut out the photocopies and stick them in when
    required

Keep all your photocopies safe-make sure the
first 3 zones are completed by next lesson

  • Inner Suburbs - Earlsdon
  • Outer Suburbs Wyken
  • Wealthy Outer Suburbs - Finham
  • Outer City Council Estate - Wood end
  • Use the blue booklet to help you complete the
    review of 4 of the zones above
  • You will need to assess Wyken and Wood end by
    yourself
  • You will need the maps / photos and diagrams-
    cut out the photocopies and stick them in when
    required
  • By the end of today's lesson try to have 3 zones
    completed
