Introduction
About Univest Brokerage
We are a Dubai based brokerage house providing
equities brokerage services for the UAE stock
markets. We offer services to institutional and
individual clients by providing one-stop shop of
all brokerage services. Our integrated trading
platform runs on a sophisticated multi-currency,
multi-market system allowing clients to securely
trade their shares, with instant SMS
confirmation. We ensure all clients are dealt in
a transparent, ethical and professional manner.
Univest brokerage is regulated by Emirates
Securities Commodities Authority (ESCA) and a
licensed broker for both Dubai Financial Market
(DFM) Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX).

Management Profile
Majid Julfar (Chief Executive Officer) Mr. Julfar
has more than 11 years of commercial and
investment banking experience in regional
markets. He has extensive work experience with
regional and international banks including senior
positions with Daman Securities, ABN AMRO,
Emirates Bank International and National Bank of
Dubai.
Bahaa Al Far (General Manager) Mr. Al Far has
more than 9 years experience in the field of
financial brokerage business. Prior to joining
Univest Brokerage, He had been employed as a
Branch Manager for one of leading brokerage
houses in Dubai. He has sound knowledge and
understanding of the UAE equities market. He has
developed strong relationships within the
investment community by managing portfolios of
HNWIs. He has also completed his B.s in
Accounting. He is also pursuing an MBA
qualification in General Management.
Amr Nashaat Mohy El-Deen Rizk (Operations
Manager) Mr. Nashaat has extensive experience in
financial and operational aspects of a brokerage
business. In his previous roles he has
demonstrated excellence in compliance, trading
and settlement activities in ADX, DFM and DGCX.
He has completed his Master of Business
Administration specializing in Banking and
Finance from Preston University, where he also
presented a thesis on the Dubai Financial Market.
Bilal Banihani (Trading Manager) Mr. Banihani is
a experienced professional with eight years of
trading experience. He is responsible for best
trade execution for our clients and has
well-rounded and in-depth knowledge of the UAE
markets. Mr. Banihani also has a degree in
finance backing up his extensive experience.
Zaid Al-Nafoosi (VIP Accounts Manager) Mr.
Al-Nafoosi has 5 years of experience and an
outstanding comprehension of the UAE equity
markets. He has managed a large client base in
his previous position. Mr. Al-Nafoosi brings with
him invaluable knowledge of the UAE markets to
Univest Brokerage, which he occasionally
discusses in the media. He has graduated in
Finance from Kent State University (US) and also
has a technical analysis certification.

Al-Deera Holding (Ticker ALDEERA) Established in
1998, Al-Deera Holding is a Kuwaiti shareholding
company. ALDEERA went public in 2005, listing 350
million shares on the Kuwaiti Stock Exchange. Al
Deera holding holds 31 of Univest Brokerage.
Kuwait Invest Holding (Ticker KTINVEST)
Established in 1996, Kuwait Invest Holding is a
shareholding entity specializing in short and
long term investment activities. In 2004,
KTINVEST was listed on the Kuwaiti stock market.
Kuwait Invest Holding holds 30 of Univest
Brokerage.
Belhoul Investment Office (BIO) BIO focuses is an
investment firm focusing on three asset classes,
namely Real Estate, Tradable Securities and
Alternative Assets. Today, the Groups
proprietary interests employ over 1,500
employees. BIO holds 15 of Univest Brokerage.
Univest Group Univest Group is a
multi-disciplined financial consulting firm with
leading practices in Private Equity, Corporate
Finance Advisory, Research and Asset Management.
The company has offices in Kuwait, Dubai, New
York and Cayman Islands. Univest Group holds 13
of Univest Brokerage.
Gulf Brokerage House Gulf brokerage house was one
of the first brokerage firm to be licensed in
Kuwait and it remains one of the leading
companies in Kuwait. It holds 6 of Univest
Brokerage.
Trust Securities Trust Securities is a clearing
member of the DGCX and is regulated and
authorized by Securities and Commodities
Authority, United Arab Emirates. Trust Securities
is also an originator of Dubai Gold Receipts
through the physical gold settlement system
operated by DMCC. Trust Securities holds 5 of
Univest Brokerage.

Board Members
Abdulwahab Ahmad Al-Nakib (Chairman) Mr.
Abdulwahab has 13 years of experience in private
equity and asset management, he has served as
Investment Funds Assistant Vice-President at
Global Investment House, where he was part of the
founding team. He also worked at United Gulf
Management in Boston, USA on structuring and
placement of Corporate Finance deals, Real-Estate
management and private equities portfolios.
Mario Kozma (Board Member) Mr. Kozma is also a
founding partner of BIO, Mario is responsible for
developing a dynamic asset allocation strategy
compatible with the new vision of the Group and
supervising current and new investments. Prior to
that, Mario was an investment manager at Inter
IKEA family office in Waterloo and before that an
alternative assets analyst at Lehman Brothers in
London. Mario holds an MBA from Essec Business
School and a B.E. in Civil Environmental
Engineering from the American University of
Beirut.
Khalfan Juma Belhoul (Board Member) Mr. Belhoul
is also founding partner of BIO, Khalfan is
responsible for overseeing the investments
undertaken by BIO and developing long-term
relationships with global managers. Mr. Khalfan
holds an M.S in Electronic Commerce and a B.S in
both Finance and Management information systems
all from Boston University.
Khaled Magdy Al Marsafy (Board Member) Mr.
Al-Marsafy serves on the boards of a number of
companies in Kuwait and USA, including Kuwait
National Lube Oil Manufacturing Company, Chart
Group and Good Food Company. With over 12 years
of experience in global markets and investment
banking, El-Marsafy has also worked with a number
of world-class renowned financial organizations.
Mr. El-Marsafy holds a Bachelor of Science in
Business Administration International Finance
from University of Hartford, USA.

Regulatory Framework
Univest Brokerage is regulated by ESCA, we follow
all the relevant regulations outlined by the
authorities in the UAE financial services
industry. We have strict compliance procedures in
place within the firm.
Anti Money Laundering
Univest Brokerage has drafted its AML policy in
compliance with the provisions of the Federal
Laws with respect to money laundering. This
policy applies to all Univest Brokerage officers,
employees and clients.
Know You Customer (KYC)
Univest Brokerage adheres to the KYC norms
prevalent in the industry. It also enables the
company to know/understand their customers and
their financial dealings better which in turn
help in managing their risks prudently.
Confidentiality Policy
