General Information
  • English IV 4 courses for 12 college hours
  • US Government 1 course for 3 hours
  • US Macro Economics 1 course for 3 hours
  • College Algebra 1 course for 3 hours
  • College Calculus 1 course for 5 hours

Criteria for Admit
  • Must be a junior in good standing
  • G.p.a of 80 or higher
  • Permission from high school
  • Taken the THEA, ACCUPLACER or be TSI exempt
  • TAKS scores of 2200 with a 3 on written
  • SAT combined score of 1070 with min of 500
  • ACT composite of 23 with min of 19
  • Math must take Accuplacer test at TCC

    Registration at TCC must be completed by July
    31st.

Cost of Dual Enrollment
  • 50.00 per credit hour - 150 per 3 hour class
  • Cost of text books
  • Financial aid is available for qualifying
    students Must fill out FAFSA form and submit
  • A form is available in the CHHS Counseling office
    if interested in financial aid

Summer enrollment - Mathematics
  • Calculus available on TCC campus from June 9th
    Aug. 6th
  • College Algebra available on TCC campus from
  • May 25 July 3rd
  • Must enroll and take Accuplacer by April
    11th.

Dual Enrollment Packets - Fall
  • Packets with all necessary information will be
    available in June and a phone call home will be
    made for students to pick up in the main office
  • Registration at TCC is due by July 31st. After
    this deadline, all students will be placed in
    regular CHHS classes.
  • Be sure to take care of these deadlines early and
    avoid long lines and the frustration of
    procrastination!

Dual Enrollment - Summer
  • Sign list to get packet early
  • Will need to take Accuplacer at TCC because TAKS
    scores will not be back in time for registration.
  • All math classes require the Accuplacer

  • Student must be independent and in class to be
    successful
  • Must meet all deadlines
  • G.P.A. transfers to next college
  • Student will have to send TCC transcripts when
    applying for college during senior year
