  and involvement policies and procedures
• A strategy for providing disability services
  within the Governments ongoing policy framework

CURRENT SITUATION

• That D.O.V. committee of management is currently
  discussing the possibilities of
  merger/amalgamation with a number of providers
  both peninsula based and others
• A sub-committee has been established to undertake
  this task

• The sub-committee is to report back to the
  committee meeting in July with a recommendation
  of merger of amalgamation with a specific
  organisation
• This organisation would then need to do a Due
  Diligence before any decision

• The final decision on a merger or amalgamation
  has to be made by the D.O.V. members following a
  recommendation from the committee
• A possible time for merger to take effect would
  be from the commencement of next year
