BIOGRAFIA

• Joaquin Opio (A.K.A. J-Opio)With nearly 25 years
  experience as a top DJ, producer and remixer,
  Latin Billboard award winner Joaquin Opio (a.k.a
  J-Opio), is one of Puerto Ricos top
  professionals and the creative genius behind
  TEKNOMEDIA. He lead the production of the
  international radio show On Fuego, On Fire for
  renowned artist Daddy Yankee. On Fire hitted
  airwaves every week in 25 States through ABC
  Radio Networks and several countries in Latin
  America.J-Opio began his DJ career in 1984 as
  Mobil DJ but it wasnt until 1993 that he became
  a permanent artist in the competitive local club
  scene. J Opio has lead the sounds and beats at
  some of the islands best clubs and discotheques
  including Peggy Sue, Egypto, Krash Klub, Eros,
  Club Stargate, Kourus and Starz among others.
• His unique ability to pack a music punch also
  earned him the opportunity to participate in
  special events for such large brands as Coors
  Light, Medalla, AXE, Mazda and Budweiser to name
  a few. J-Opio began his work as a remixer in
  1996 in collaboration with DJ Sugar Kid and Ivan
  Robles producing remixes for renowned artists
  including Celia Cruz, Daddy Yankee, Ricky Martin,
  Olga Tañón, Giselle, Millie Corretjer, India,
  Cristian Castro, Vico C, Limit 21 and CC Music
  Factory to name a few. In 2005, Opios remix
  production of Ricky Martins I Dont Care earned
  him the coveted Best Remix of the Year Latin
  Billboard Award. His DJ remixes and originals
  tracks continue are played in the best clubs
  around the world.
• Opio graduated from Sagrado Corazón University
  with a degree in telecommunications, specializing
  in radio production

Biografía

• Juan Laboy
• With nearly 12 years experience as a DJ, Music
  Store administrator and DJ company co-owner Juan
  Laboy is a well recognized individual in the
  music community for serving the local and
  professional DJ along with helping Local and
  International Record Labels on their marketing
  and sales strategies back in the 80s and mid
  90s where most of those labels made record
  sales.
• Juan Laboy began his career in 1986 when he
  started playing as a mobile DJ with Onlimited
  Music DJs where he shared ownership with fellow
  classmates and best friends. By 1988 he was one
  of the DJs for MDJs who played for WAPA TVs
  Partytime Show. At the same time, he became one
  of the top music salesman for VIDEOSONICS store
  at Plaza Las Americas with mentor Guillermo Puig,
  co-worker and best friend Joaquin Opio. Later on
  by 1990 he became an artist in the local club
  scene. He became one of the DJs for Club Isadora
  and Club Mikonos where he share the turntables
  with starting DJ Ivan Robles and veterans Mickey
  The Mixman Dominguez, DJ Sugar Kid and DJ
  Carlos Fernandez to name a few. By 1996, he was a
  collaborator of La Mega s DJ show Dance Traxx
  as well as Cima 96.5 FM produced by veteran DJ
  and mentor Mickey The Mixman Dominguez.
• Since the late 80s to present, he and Joaquin
  Opio had been together in the music scene, but in
  1999 Juan turned to fulfill one of his dreams to
  become an airline pilot. Today, Juan is a Captain
  for a local company on their Cessna Citation jet
  where he is also the administrator. Juan has been
  able to combine his two most important
  professional dreams into one administrating both
  the jet and his new business TEKNOMEDIA.
• Teknomedia represents the combination of a long
  time friendship with the dream of working within
  the music industry. Along with Joaquin Opio, they
  are able to present a new way of serving the
  industry with emphasis on new talents, products
  and services that are in need of exposure with a
  professional representation.
• Juan graduated from Sagrado Corazon University
  with a degree in Communications, Mayor in
  Advertising and also from Comair Aviation Academy
  with a Professional Pilot Program course.
