Highlights of Current Status - IMT-Advanced

• Endorsed the submission on LTE-Advanced of 3GPP
  as a candidate of IMT-Advanced to ITU-R WP5D5
  (09.6)
• Considering the collaboration with IEEE802.16 for
  the submission of M-WiMAX evolution as a
  candidate for IMT-Advanced
• Registered as independent evaluation group
  (08.12), and provided technical contributions to
  WP5D (09.2, 09.6)
• e.g., C-code implementation of channel model, and
  clarification of channel model

• Developing Phase 2 for providing interoperability
  among devices and services adapting Phase 1
  standards (by June 2010)
• Middleware(Web based), SI, Downloadable

  AT-DMB2.88Mbps_at_1.5MHz)
• Maintain backward compatibility with T-DMB
  service
• More service models of Advanced T-DMB
• Available as DTV alternative service in
  developing countries
• Standardizing Advanced T-DMB Data Services (i.e.
  BWS, Filecasting, EPG, etc)
