• A call to repentance

Now, therefore, says the Lord, Turn to Me
with all your heart, With fasting, with
weeping, and with mourning. So rend your
heart, and not your garments Return to the

• He is known as the prophet of Pentecost

And it shall come to pass afterward That I will
pour out My Spirit on all flesh - Joel 228

Hundreds of years later, on the day of Pentecost,
the apostles spoke the Word of God by the Spirit
of God and said this is what was spoken by
the prophet Joel And it came to pass in the
last days, says God, That I will pour out My
Spirit on all flesh - Acts 216-17

• God requires genuine repentance.

• God does not want anyone to perish.
