About the EMAS Capacity Building Program
financed by the European Commission

• Based on EMAS Easy methodology
• In eight European countries (Austria, Bulgaria,
  Denmark, Luxemburg, Sweden, the Netherlands,
  Slovakia and Romania)
• Lead by KÖVET and ECE

Objectives

• To train 40 consultants (five/country) in the EU
  to better coach (SME) implementing (EMS)
• To coach minimum two SMEs / person to build EMS
• Twelve months (till 2010)

• Kick-off meeting at 21th of May in
  Miercurea-Ciucwith the participation of
  representative of the Ministry of Environment,
  potential consultants and tutors
