• The ultimate objective is a more dynamic
  economy, with a more rapid rate of job and
  business creation. That in turn requires a more
  enterprising workforce, with the skills and
  attitudes necessary to manage more flexible
  careers and to understand and manage risk.
  Enterprise learning in schools can develop those
  skills and attitudes.

Company Programme

• Run over 1 academic year
• Support of a volunteer from business
• Students raise share capital to finance the
  company
• Design and make a product or service to sell to
  public
• Delivers aspects of work related learning and
  other curriculum subjects
• Helps to develop and evidence key skills and
  enterprise capability
• Provides a real experience of business enterprise

• Runs for up to 1 academic year
• Mentor by a volunteer from business
• Raise share capital to finance company
• Designs and makes a product or service to sell to

• Helps students to appreciate the potential of
  SMEs as future employers

Entrepreneurship Masterclass

• Run as a full or half-day seminar
• Mixes hands-on activities with presentations and
  discussion
• Helps students to gain an appreciation of the
  personal qualities and skills of an entrepreneur
• Delivers aspects of work related learning and
  develop enterprise capabilities
• Increases understanding of the practical aspects
  of setting up in business such as obtaining
  finance, negotiating contracts and retaining
  customers
• Introduces students to real entrepreneurs and
  business people

• Founded in 1919, Junior Achievement is the
  world's oldest, largest and fastest-growing
  non-profit economic education organization.
  Junior Achievement International was founded in
  1994 to develop and serve Junior Achievement and
  Young Enterprise programs in over 100 countries
  around the world reaching nearly 7 million
  students each year.
