Objectives of the Course
  • To give the students the knowledge on
    contemporary discourse on nation and nationalism,
    nation-building and state-building, strategies of
    constructing the national identity,
    democratization and nationalism, nation-state and
    globalization, controversies of national identity
    and multiculturalism, perspectives of national
    cultures in global era.
  • Prerequisites
  • Knowledge of English and Russian at least on
    reading skills
