experienced a loss in agricultural land and in
the number of farms. Californias agricultural
industry has experienced a loss in farm income
while increasing its output. Californias
agricultural industry has increased crop output
with less available water. Californias
agriculture is faced with many challenges

protection for species, reduction in available
water, increase in regulations.
