Administration Executive Track
The Executive Doctorate is designed for
professionals who aspire to the senior level of
administration and leadership in higher education
institutions and non-profit organizations.
You will follow a cohort model where classes meet
one Friday evening one Saturday per month.
Puts you on the fast track to completing your
degree without career interruption.
Provides a structured and systematic approach to
the curriculum and dissertation, making it
possible for participants to complete their
course work in just over 2 years. Completing the
dissertation usually takes a minimum of 3-4
semesters, but of courses this will vary from
student to student.
The entire program is offered at the FIU
Broward-Pines Center in Pembroke Pines.

What I like about our program is how flexible
and helpful the faculty are. They are always
willing to address our needs and concerns.
Meeting once a month is what makes the program
very appealing to me. The program covers key
aspects of Higher Education such as law, finance
and leadership.

As a full time instructor and mother of two I
really appreciate the convenient scheduling and
structure of the Executive Doctorate Program in
Higher Education. The classes are not only
challenging and enriching, but they are also
relevant to my daily work here at Miami Dade
College.
