  position as an important and popular movement and

Main organisational changes the last years

• One organisation
• 1996 Merged the Norwegian Olympic Committee and
  Confederation of Sports into one organisation
• 2008 Federation responsible for Disables merged
  into Norwegian Olympic Committee and
  Confederation of Sport
• Result-one organisation Norwegian Olympic and
  Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports

A lot of work is remaining, but the progress is
good! It is crucial to secure good quality of
this important task!

Financing of the Sport activities

• EUR 65 million from State Lotteries for the
  organisation
• EUR 20 million from State Lotteries to clubs
• EUR 100 million from State Lotteries for
  facilities
• EUR 230 million from municipal/county authorities
• EUR 100 million from sponsors
• EUR 750 million financed internally (fees,
  collections,etc.)
• EUR 1000 million value of voluntary work (est.
  30,000 man years)
• In total 2300 MEUR per year
