Overview

• Each team has own useridpassword
• Entries are HyTek Team Manager Entries exports
• Teams upload their entries to TSA website
• TAGS Host will download entries files and
  auto-generated entries/fees reports
• Teams will send payment check via priority (2-3
  days) mail within 24 hours of entries deadline
• Instructions sent to teams when TAGS meet info is
  distributed

Entries File Rules

• Each team designates a coach and/or meet entries
  person to receive a useridpassword .
• Entries may be uploaded several times for a team
  but each replaces the teams previous upload.
• Team-LSC codes must match LSC database.
• No hardcopy/diskette or email for pilot
  participants

Entries File Validations

• Requirements
• Event numbers descriptions must match
• Athlete registration data must match LSC
• Name, birthdate, gender, USA-S ID
• Advise auditing Team Manager database against LSC
  RE1 files in advance to resolve discrepancies.
• Seed times must meet TAGS cuts
• Requirements must be met or entry file is refused

Entries File Proof of Times

• Proof of Times Warnings
• Individual entry seed time faster than POT
  database causes warning
• POT warnings do not prevent entries from being
  accepted
• Relays are not checked
• Final POT Exceptions report online 72 hours
  before TAGS

Problems Addressed

• Corrupted or empty diskettes
• Diskette has entries for wrong meet
• Entries for incorrect events
• Entries slower than TAGS time standards
• Expense of overnight delivery
• Entries/fees reports missing or out of synch with
  entries
• Multiple entries for team
• Incorrect Team, LSC codes
• Incorrect Athlete registration data
• POT checks done after too late for change
• Accuracy of team contact information
• Confirmation that entries are received
• Not dependent on email (inherently unreliable)

• Limited web browsers supported
• Recent version of Internet Explorer is best
• JavaScript and cookies required
• Must have Team Manager II
• Online payment of fees (estimate 3 cost)
• Altitude adjustments
• Relays POT
• TAGS cuts for short-course meters

• Pilot website has been started
• Admin pages for meet host, proof of times
  database, LSC registrars, webmaster
• Resource pages and links for teams
• Possible use for other USA Swimming sanctioned
  meets
