Title: Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation AEF

1
Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation
(AEF)
2
What is the AEF
This is not the entity which actually develops
the International Agricultural Electronics
Standards. This function is still handled by ISO
PM23/SC19 and the associated Working
Groups. The Agricultural Industry Electronics
Foundation is an independent, industry,
organization intended to provide the necessary
continuing promotion and support for Agricultural
Electronics Standards after they have been
developed and adopted by the international
community.
3
The Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation
replaces two existing industry voluntary support
groups Implementation Group ISOBUS (IGI) and the
North American ISOBUS Implementation Task Force
(NAIITF). The AEF therefore will bring a more
coordinated effort to the support activities
these two volunteer groups have provided in the
past, as well as providing for formalized funding
and resources.
