Vice Principal Curriculum Development
  • Reports to The Principal
  • Purpose of the Role
  • The purpose of this role is to develop the
    curriculum offering, in order to deliver business
    targets and stimulate organisational growth in
    line with college priorities, learner needs and
    government policy initiatives.
  • The post-holder is a member of the College
    Leadership Team and is designated as a senior
    post-holder.

Vice Principal Curriculum Delivery
  • Reports to The Principal
  • Purpose of the Role
  • The purpose of this role is to ensure that the
    College meets its targets for student
    recruitment, retention and achievement through
    the cost-effective provision of high quality
    teaching resources and a stimulating learning
    environment.
  • The post-holder is a member of the College
    Leadership Team and is designated as a senior
    post-holder.

Director of Planning Information
  • Reports to The Principal
  • Purpose of the Role
  • The main purpose of this role is to produce the
    Colleges strategic and operating plans and to
    ensure that the College is able to monitor its
    performance against key elements of these plans,
    primarily through the development and
    implementation of robust management reporting
    systems. The role also has responsibility for
    ensuring that appropriate information systems are
    in place through the College to inform, monitor
    and evaluate managerial decision making.
  • The post-holder is a member of the College
    Leadership Team and is designated as a senior
    post-holder.

Senior Post HoldersWhat this means
  • Where there is a vacancy or expected
  • vacancy in a senior post, the Corporation
  • shall
  • Advertise the vacancy nationally, and
  • Appoint a selection panel consisting of
  • (i) at least five members of the Corporation
    including the Chair or the Vice-Chair or both,
    where the vacancy is for the post of Principal
    or
  • (ii) the Principal and at least three other
    members of the Corporation, where the vacancy is
    for any other senior post

    applicants for interview
  • Interview the applicants
  • Where they consider it appropriate to do so,
    recommend to the Corporation for appointment one
    of the applicants they have interviewed
