Goals and Objectives
Anatomy, Embryology and Histology Curricula are
more effectively and efficiently presented to the
students by teaching structure and function in
normal surgical cases, in abnormal surgical
cases, in physical diagnosis, and in medical
imaging. Rather than memorizing details, students
learn medical language by learning to think
anatomically. Knowledge of the human body
geography, grossly as well as developmentally and
microscopically, is the structure or basis of a
students medical knowledge. Students will be
able to visually reconstruct what they have seen
and be able to think anatomically. It is the
goal of Block 7 to provide the learning
opportunities that will lead to the successful
learning of Structure.
