Famous Buildings Around The World
2
ART MUSEUM, milwaukee, Wisconsin
Finnish-American architect, Eero Saarinen, in
1957, designed The War Memorial Center the
Kahler Building was the product of David Kahlers
creativity in 1975, and Spanish architect
Santiago Calatrava created the Quadracci Pavilion
in 2001. It is directly linked to Wisconsin
Avenue through a suspension cable footbridge from
where you can overlook the famous Lake Michigan.
3
DANCING HOUSE, Prague
  • Vlado Milunic, a Croatian-Czech architect and
    Frank Gehry, Canadian-American architect,
designed the Nationale Nederlanden building in
Prague which is also known as the Dancing House.
The architecture is so complex, it has shaped the
building in a dancing state. It may look
deconstructed at first, but it is actually
amazing. They used 99 different construction
panels of varying shapes and dimensions to make
    the structure look that way.

4
LA PEDRERA, Barcelona
Settled among the urban lanes of Barcelona are
some strange and wonderful structures by renowned
planner Antoni Gaudi. His distinct approach to
the Art Nouveau movement produced probably the
most innovative structures the world has ever
seen. Whats more, La Pedrera is an exceptional
case. One of the most original houses ever built
in the history of architecture this is more of a
handcrafted sculpture than just a building.
5
PETRONAS TOWER, Kuala Lumpur
The Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia stand proudly at a whopping 452 meters.
This tower held the title of the worlds tallest
building from 1998 to 2004. It is one of the
significant landmarks in the city as well. Cesar
Pelli and Achmad Murdijat were responsible for
this absolute splendour and Deejay Cerco, the
engineer and Dominic Saibo, the designer, helped
shape the blueprint and turned the vision into
reality under the supervision of JC Guinto.
6
CONCLUSION
These are some of the major architectural
innovations to look upon. Where some people find
motivation in movies or books, there are people
who gain it from the complexity of architecture.
And it does not sound weird at all once you
measure the intensity of the efforts and
challenges faced to put each magnificent piece on
this planet. To read about more about it visit
