Nikolskaya (1991) investigated the properties of
the temperature in-homogeneity of the coronal
plasmaThen he argues that the isothermal fine
structures of various temperature regimes are
randomly mixed in the corona. The main result of
this study is the presence of evidence of the
spatial adjacency of different temperature
regimes confined by the active region loops.

Generally, , the perpendicular (to the local
B ) component of the heat flux vector, is often
neglected (Porter et al. 1994a Ruderman et al.
1996) which means that the heat flux is carried
by electrons in the direction of the magnetic

closely the isothermal loops with different
temperature regimes are packed, there will be
very little heat flow, if any, across the field
