Residential
- Specialising in projects that add value to
property, SCH Build is enhancing your investment.
As an example, we recently completed a
modification to an existing loft conversion
substantially increasing the floor area by
incorporating two new dormers close to the
perimeter walls of the house. The addition
increased the current value of the property by
more than 90 of the project cost which means
the extra space the clients are using as an
office/study is costing them less than 10 if
they were to sell today, and probably nothing if
they wait for the market to improve.

Commercial
- Our commercial arm has undertaken contracts for
many different clients, with projects ranging
from restaurant development to shop fitting and
office refurbishment. Many of our new build
projects include a mix of commercial and
residential space. These mixed occupancy
developments usually shops with residential
apartments above require special planning
approval, but this is usually not a problem if
the project is set up correctly. Developers also
need to be aware of tax implications when setting
up mixed occupancy developments.
