• Prídavná jména mají tri stupne
• Základní tvar (big, green, clever, interesting)
• Druhý stupen, tzv. komparativ - používá se k
  porovnávání dvou vecí, k tomu, abychom rekli co
  je vetší, zajímavejší apod. (bigger, greener,
  cleverer, more interesting)
• Tretí stupen, tzv. superlativ - používáme ho,
  abychom mohli vyjádrit, že je neco proste NEJ -
  nejvetší, nejzajímavejší apod. (the biggest, the
  greenest, the cleverest, the most interesting)

SMALL - SMALLER Druhý stupen u krátkých prídavných jmen tvoríme pridáním koncovky er.
LARGE - LARGER K prídavným jménum koncícím na e pridáváme pouze - r
HOT - HOTTER U jednoslabicných prídavných jmen koncících na souhlásku po krátké samohlásce zdvojujeme souhlásku a pridáváme koncovku er.
DIRTY - DIRTIER U prídavných jmen koncících na y se y mení na i a prídává se koncovka er.
FAR - FURTHER Nekterá prídavná jména se stupnují nepravidelne.

  Za cíl si stanovuje vysvetlit a procvicit
  stupnování prídavných jmen, kterému predchází
  krátké opakování tématu Animals.
• Navazuje na slovní zásobu a povzbuzuje k vlastní
  tvorbe vet pri vyprávení o vlastnostech zvírat.
  Jako zábavné doplnení je pridán odkaz na webové
  stránky, které jsou zamereny na základní
  informace o zvíratech How many legs?
