Activity - How
  • Groups of 3 or 4. No Exceptions.
  • Group must meet with me before leaving classroom
    (for me to make sure you are on the right track,
    and to write down your names).

Activity - What
  • Build a block diagram that describes
    relationships between concepts covered in ASTR
    111.
  • Present your diagram on projector using one or
    more sheets of paper, or email me ppt slides
    before class on Monday before 2 am.
  • You have 4 minutes to present. One or more group
    members may speak.

  • Number and diversity of connections and concepts
  • Clarity and creativity of presentation
  • Correctness

Grading
  • Because most of the work will take place tomorrow
    in class, you _must_ be in class to receive
    credit.  No exceptions
  • Extra Credit
  • Participation today and Tuesday Drop lowest
    three quiz grades.
  • Groups with the two (but possibly more)
    "highest-rated" presentations Drop lowest three
    quiz grades 10 added to final exam percentage.
  • Note that I will not add the 10 to an earlier
    exam score, it will apply to the finalonly.
