What is an Adjective?
What does it do It is a word that describes a
noun or pronoun. Adjectives slightly change
the meanings of these words. For example A house
could become a small house or a large, wooden
house

Modifying Nouns
When adjectives modify nouns, they usually come
directly before the nouns. However, sometimes
they may come after. Examples She saw a

Adjectives usually come after a linking verb when
they modify pronouns. However, sometimes they
may come before. Examples They are happy and
talkative. Quiet and sullen, he sat in a
