• Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be
  purchased at the price of chains and slavery?
  Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course
  others may take but as for me, give me liberty,
  or give me death!

Main Idea

• Patrick Henrys main goal was to raise a cavalry
  or infantry in every Virginia county and he did
  this by speaking out at the second Virginia
  Convention.

Point of View

• Henrys point of view, that he presented to the
  Virginia House of Burgesses, was that they needed
  to pass a resolution delivering the Virginia
  troops to the Revolutionary war.

  anti-federalists.
