• Sea turtles are getting crushed and polluted by
  shrimping boats this will cause them to go
  extinct

Oil Spills

• The Deepwater Horizon oil spill
• in the Gulf of Mexico
• Marine animals and other fish also endangered
• The BP-Deepwater Horizon oil rig exploded
• Dead Sea turtles had washed ashore.
• Deepwater Horizon oil rig was immediately blamed
  for the deaths of the sea turtles.
• most of the Dead Sea turtles washed up before
  the oil rig disaster

Browards Beaches

• in Florida sea turtles are considered threatened
  because of the oil spills.
• The leather back sea turtle is the most
  endangered sea turtle.
• The green and Hawksbill sea turtles are also
  endangered
• The population of Loggerhead sea turtles are
  threatened.
• These sea turtles are on the browards beaches in
  Florida

Shrimping boats .

• the people catch and drown the sea turtles under
  the shrimping nets.
• shrimping boats cast there nets they land on top
  of sea turtles and they try to escape.
• The nets have (TEDS) which are turtle excluder
  devices!
• The TEDS help them escape.

• There is a type of illness which is
  fibropapillona tumors

Conclusion ?

• We all need to stop shrimping boats and the oil
  pollution in order to save the lives of sea
  turtles. If we dont make a change, then the sea
  turtles will suffer. If the oil companies dont
  stop polluting the environment, then it is
  telling the animals that oil workers and us just
  dont care about what is happening to their
  lives.
