• In Aikido, we are taught to blend or harmonize
  with our opponent, so that we enter a dance in
  which we calmly harness and redirect the forces
  of the opponent for our own purposes.
• The surfer calmly harmonizes with the wave,
  harnessing and redirecting the forces of mother
  ocean in a dance of breathtaking beauty.
