• In groups of four, take a close look at the given
  family portrait.
• Raise as many questions as you can that you want
  to know about the work
• (E.g. Who do you think is the artist in the
  painting?  How did you deduce that? Who do you
  think are the people in the picture?
• As a group, pick out 5 key questions that you
  want to address, discuss and find out more.
• Read the excerpt about the artist/work
• Discuss, note down points and present your
  ideas/findings to the 5 chosen questions to the
  class
