    religious reasons

Rather than just be separate, Puritans are going
to purify the church.

    Puritans wanted to show how great a civilization
    founded on their religion could be

    needed to be able to study the Bible constantly
  • Created the 1st university in America, Harvard
    for the training of priests.

    tribe under Montacalm, or King Philip.
