• Dont give out private information
• Passwords
• PINs
• Name
• Address
• Phone number
• School name
• Family or friend names
• This information can be used by bullies and other
  harmful people on the internet

How to Protect Myself

• Dont exchange pictures, video, and comments
  they can be shared with others without permission
  or notification
• IM conversations are not private they can be
  printed, copied, forwarded, etc.
• Dont send a message when you are angry you may
  be the bully

What if Im being bullied?

• Tell a trusted adult
• Dont put up with it there are laws against
  bullying
• Dont open, read, or respond to messages by cyber
  bullies
• Dont erase the messages keep them as proof to
  show evidence against the bully
• Block IM and email from cyber bullies
