  • He ordered his men into two lines. One in front
    and one in rear. After two volleys, the front
    soldiers retreated. British army ran after them
    and ran right into the army lined up in rear.

    the peninsula.
  • French fleet kept Cornwallis from escaping by
    sea.

    Cornwalliss army, surrounded and blockaded the
    enemy position.
  • The British lost the Battle of Yorktown. They
    surrendered.
