  • A Planometric view is a type of pictorial view.
  • It allows a realistic birds eye view of an area
    or workspace.
  • It is most commonly used for interior designers
    to show clients their ideas for room layouts.

  • Planometrics are draw using the angles shown
    below.

  • When drawing planometrics we first of all draw
    the plan of an object, full size, on the base of
    our crate at the correct angles.
  • Then we project vertically the correct distance
    and draw the shapes there.
