benefits
  • independant of CRISPIN workstation - using PC
    computer
  • compact, transportable, to maximise convenience
    and use
  • simple to use, requires minimal training
  • captures stylelines and reference points while
    digitising the last surface
  • may be used as a 'stand-alone 3D styleline,
digitiser, to capture stylelines and ref pts
  • zero set-up time and minimal last preparation
  • no detailed last marking-up
  • will accomodate all types of last of wood,
plastic and even metal, and of any colour
  • plain 'block' lasts hinged making lasts

ShoeDesign
benefits
  • last processing
  • centreline can be edited after last digitising
  • last position (orientation) in space can be
    re-set
  • the 'foot' can be changed - to suit the
    designers preference
  • design guidelines can be defined and embedded
    in the last data
  • last can be extended to allow boot designing
  • last can be enlarged at the toe to emulate a
    steel toe cap
  • surface 'edge' enhancement
  • export last surface(s) by iges to engineering
    CAD

26
ShoeDesign

Style development Line colours The default
colours help you to recognise the purpose of each
line however you have the freedom to re-colour
lines into groups any way you wish. Stab-points
There are 5 ways of creating and positioning stab
points you are in control! Mocassins, eyelets, 2
and 1punching - and the rest - all need stab
points! Part defining Un-folded lines mean you
define the shape as it really is, and an
automatic Fill routine confirms the
shape. On-screen notes Notes - Descriptions-
can be typed on-screen and attached to patterns,
or to individual parts. It? a valuable style
development tool. Directories Work - pattern
files - can be kept in seperate Directories
according to any grouping you need, for example
by user, by season, by gender or by customer.
33
The professional pattern engineering system - to
save time and money
Grading Applying the rade The assignment of
the grading instructions is visual, and easily
reviewed. Grading increments - availability You
pre-define files for childrens work, mens or
womens work, irregular grading, 4-size grading,
in fact whatever you need, attach a description,
and save it. Now you can select the increment
file at will. Default grading Simples
traight grading is achieved effortlessly, and
almost instantly. You have the option of
arithmetic or geometric grading. Un-limited
screen display Any number of parts may be graded
to any number of sizes, and viewed on-screen
together and aligned at any point, and
measured! Transfer to the cutting module Like
default grading - its effortless and almost
instant the grading quality completely
eliminates the time and effort required to edit
graded parts! Miscellaneous A pattern
assessment program is included for the pattern
engineer to use. Patterns can be output to
publishing and drawing software programs. There
are just 3 levels of menu the menu path is
always displayed, so the menu system is really
clear and friendly. Users become productive
fast! All grading instructions are saved - and
archived - with pattern files. Comprehensive
archiving and retrieval menus are provided.
