    course the first half of the semester. Why are
    you proud of yourself? Then reflect on one thing
    you would change. What would you do
    better/differently?
  • Finally, name one thing you liked doing, and one
    thing you did not. Be constructive, not rude
    please.

Please pick up your journals and handouts from
the table.

    you? Did you like it?
  • What has been the most important hour of your
    life so far?

    Are there things you dont understand? What
    things about the text, Twain, Huck do you or do

    called her experience reading Huck Finn both a
    guilty and alarming one. What do you think she
    meant by this? How does your reading of the novel
    compare?

    one example you remember from your reading and
    explain what the superstition is.
  • Why does Twain use superstition in the novel? How
    does it add to the humor?

    teacher
  • Sign your name so he can remember you!
  • We will be giving this to him in a notebook
    tomorrow, which is his last day with us!

    graduation. What kind of assignments would be
    required, and how would the class benefit
    students?

    be buried in your backyard for 500 years. The
    capsule is about the size of a large suitcase.
    What would you put inside the capsule? What
    would you want future generations to know about
    todays world? What items best represent who you
    are? What items best represent your place in
    history?

    partners name on it, and turn it into the basket.

  • Theres fun scary (walking through a haunted
    house, screaming through a horror movie, riding a
    roller coaster) and then theres scary scary
    (being in a car accident, getting caught in the
    oceans riptide). Describe the scariest
    experience youve ever had. Was it fun scary, or
    was it really terrifying?
  • Turn in your Lit. Circles Role Sheet and Mask
    Assignment!
  • Study Vocab List 17 when you finish!

  • Write about an experience that occurred anywhere
    from childhood to now this needs to be something
    that has shaped/changed your life (death of
    friend/family member, meeting someone new,
    experience in school good or bad, a secret
    revealed that you did or didnt want to know,
    etc.) Describe it in as much detail as possible
    from beginning to end so that its as if youre
    there again. Explain how this experience changed
    you after recounting the event.
  • Turn in your Connecting Themes handout from
    yesterday (there should be 3 stapled together)!
  • Remember you have a vocabulary quiz Friday, and
    your journals are due! ALL Journal prompts are
    uploaded online.

  • What have you liked most about this class?
    (lessons, projects, assignments, etc.) What is
    one thing you would improve if you could and
    why/how would you change it? This can be
    something you did with Mr. Davis or myself.
  • Remember Your journals are due at the BEGINNING
    of class tomorrow.
  • You also have a vocabulary quiz on List 17.
