What is the dual degree program?
  • Purpose
  • To obtain BS degrees at both home university and
    Purdue University Calumet (PUC) after fulfill
    course requirement s at both universities.
  • Benefits
  • With existing course articulation, qualified
    students can easily transfer to PUC and obtain a
    BS degree from Purdue.

What do I need to do?
  1. Successfully completed at least two years (64
    credits) of the undergraduate course curriculum
    of SCU.
  2. Apply for admission at PUC
  3. Prove proficiency in English (to be admitted to
    the academic program)
  4. Fulfill PUC degree requirement

  • Any one of the following
  • 1. TOFAL
  • Paper test - 550
  • Internet based test- 79.  Writing 18.  Speaking
    18. Listening 14. Reading 19 (Each one is a
    minimum required score.)
  • 2. SAT reading - 480
  • 3. Successfully complete ESL level - 3
  • 4. Eng. 104 - C or better grade.

PUCBS in Biology degree requirement
  • Complete 32 credits of courses at 300 level or
    above
  • Complete 124 credits including transfer credits
  • Complete Biology graduation requirements
  • All biology courses must be completed with a C
    average or better
