Research time
Please read the general information on curriculum
models found at this website http//www.nagc.org/
index.aspx?id1839 then look at the appropriate
information on your topic on the next few slides.
14
NEXTgtgtgtgt
  • Use the websites for your model on the following
slides to research and answer the questions on
your gifted programming model using the following
4 questions (next slide). These questions will
be on the slides you will be using to present
with next week during the Elluminate session.

15
Questions to research and be prepared to present
on week 27
1 What is the background on this model? (Who
created it and when? What is the proclaimed
purpose of the model?) 2 What is the basic
structure of this model? You are welcome to
upload a graphic organizer - just email it to
me the day before the presentations. 3 Why
would this model be helpful in meeting the
learning needs of gifted students K-12? 4
What evidence of this model is available either
in GCPS or other schools/school systems? (How
practical do you think it is for
implementation?)
