What is Global Warming?

• Global warming is a gradual increase in a
  planet-wide temperature which goes hand-in-hand
  with changes occurring in the climate

• Carbon dioxide (CO2)
• Cars
• Industrial plants
• Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCS)
• Aerosol spray
• Refrigeration/ air conditioning units
• GREENHOUSE EFFECT

What is the Greenhouse Effect?

• When Gases get caught between the atmosphere it
  traps some of the outgoing energy warming the
  planet

What are the effects on the 21st century

• Human Disease
• Cholera
• Vibrio Cholera
• Contaminated water
• Intestinal tract
• Dengue fever
• Viral disease
• mosquitoes
• Malaria
• Blood stream

Wildlife

• Polar Bears live, eat, mate on the ice that is
  now melting
• Some drown because there is not ice for the to
  sit on to take a break from swimming
• 20-30 of plants and animals are at risk of
  becoming extinct if global warming persists

Droughts and Flooding

• Since the weather is getting warmer forests
  become dryer which leads to forest fires
• With the melting of the artic ice, comes rising
  of sea levels which causes flooding
