• Compressor Gas Cooler Fans (Air Exchangers)
• Air exchanger fan blades are one of the biggest
  source of noise from the fan tip speeds.
• EnCana is looking at having bigger exchanger
  boxes installed on new applications, to be able
  to slow the fan tip speeds down
• One new innovation is the new Whisper Tip fan
  blades. These new fan blades cut the sound level
  in half.

• Limitations are power supply requirements and
  installation costs

• EnCana uses two different muffler manufacturers.
• Power Therm---The Power Therms are a Critical
  Grade muffler, which is a reduction of 29-35
  Dba.
• Miratech---The Miratechs are listed as a
  Hospital Grade, which is a reduction of 30-35
  Dba.
• Muffler stacks are normally cut on a bevel to
  direct sound to the most desirable direction.
