• Sat. September 21 (M7.5)
• Both generated small tsunamis
• Very soft soil underneath the buildings
• buildings that were severely damaged were the
  ones with a similar frequency as the earthquake

Conclusion

• Resonance has had a huge impact on us and our way
  of thinking
• It has made us realize that in the future we
  should build structures that will be able to
  survive resonance
