Summary
In the story The Black Stallion you will
meet a boy named Alec and a wild Black Stallion.
Alec is on a boat with his dad when he finds a
horse in a cage. Its the black horse. Then
there is a shipwreck! Alec and the black horse
are the only survivors. The black drags Alec to
an island. Alec is exhausted at the end of the
ride. So Alec cuts the line that is tide to him
and the horse. Alec uses materials to survive.
Will Alec be saved?

Alec is clever because he used resources to stay
alive on the island.
The Black is furious because he can through any
rider off his back.
Alec is caring because he took care of the Black.
