Goals The overall goals of the intervention are
threefold 1) to identify and reduce modifiable
risk factors and negative consequences of
caregiving, 2) to enhance quality of care of the
care recipient, and 3) to enhance the well-being
of caregivers.

    component of the CTIS.
  • Active (hands-on) learning
  • Reach and actively practice relaxation and stress
    management techniques.

  • Use reminder function of the CTIS (e.g.,
    medication MD appointments.
  • CG respite function on the CTIS.

    behavior management, etc.
  • Education/didactic instruction
  • Didactic instruction on topics such as
    incontinence, wandering, etc.
  • Reinforce strategies/skills using the educational
    component of the CTIS.

    behavior problems enhance communication, etc.
