WHAT DID I DO???

• I spent my early years in Richmond Hill, Georgia
  where I sang in a Pentecostal church but later on
  I moved to Yonkers, NY
• Once I moved to Yonkers, NY I went to the
  galleria mall in White Plains, NY there I
  recorded an impromptu song of Anika Bakers Caught
  Up In the Rapture
• At that point my mothers boyfriend had gave the
  recorded

WHERE DID I DO IT ???

• After I recorded the impromptu track in the
  galleria mall in white plains my moms boyfriend
  sent it to the producer of AR and Uptown records
  the producer sent it to the CEO of Uptown records
  at that point he requested to meet with me
• I was signed to the label in 1989 at that point
  in the year I did back up singing for my label
  mates at the Apollo Theatre

• In 1992 I dropped my debut album with Sean Puffy
  Combs at the time he was an executive for AR and
  uptown records.
• On July 28 in 1992 uptown records released my
  single What the 411 and You Remind Me
