    and varied arguments regarding the novel so far.
  • Within your group, you will select one person for
    each of the following specialties
  • CHARACTERIZATION
  • SYMBOLISM
  • IMAGERY
  • What does the quote IMPLY?

  • Sort through and analyze the quotations provided.
  • Determine, as a group, which literary term is
    best exemplified by the quote.
  • The specialist for that literary term will then
    record the quote, make the interpretation, and
    explain the rationale for the groups decision.
  • Remember that you must argue your
    interpretations. Make it work!

    other specialists for your literary term.
  • Discuss your groups selected quotes,
    interpretations, and rationales.
  • Take notes regarding your work with the other
