- As the research on youth unemployment, carried
out by the Institute of Labour and Social
Research in 1999 2004, show - one third of young unemployed respondents said
that they didnt have motivation to study at
school

- 34.5 per cent of the respondents noted that they
didnt have any professional qualification - According to the data of Lithuanian Labour
Exchange more than 50 per cent of registered
unemployed young people didnt have any
professional qualification
12Inadequacy of professional qualification to the labour market needs
- one quarter of the respondents noted that their
professional qualification didnt conform to the
labour market needs - compared to 2001, a share of university graduates
among unemployed individuals increased from 11.9
to 16.5 .
13Insufficient information on vocational training and consulting
- 50 per cent of the unemployed young people
indicated that they didnt know any information
on vocational training and consulting

- Improvement of general education system
- Improvement of vocational information,
