cannot understand certain events out of context.
You must understand what occurred before in order
to move on and Unit I provides the foundation for
understanding the remaining content of the course

the US today are facing many significant
Revolutions and wars that have their root
causes in the past. Lessons from the past can
also help us understand the Revolutions and
wars, prepare solutions, avoid pitfalls observed
from similar Revolutions and wars addressed in
the past and better prepare ourselves to be
citizens of the world.
  • Project As a group, prepare a brief Powerpoint
    presentation for ONE assigned current
    Revolution or war.
  • Using your textbook and internet research (find
    useful links on mrksmodernworld.pbworks.com, as
    well as other sources, complete a Revolution/War
    Snapshot chart.
  • As you research, record proper bibliographic
    entries.
  • Share your research with the other members of
    your groups so that each has a complete
