Summary of the book

• A chipmunk named Thelonious leaves his house to
  go to his tree house and his sister says to him
  with the river rising this whole place could be
  washed away, then he says you worry to much I
  am home. After his sister leaves he decides to
  take a nap. Soon after he is woken up by water
  getting in. Thelonious tries to get away but he
  was not fast enough, and before he knew it he was
  in the water.

Summary

• When he sees a log a he grabs it to get air. When
  he is on the shore, he sees a polar bear in the
  distance. When the polar bear leaves he walks to
  a city, and sees a building. He sees someone
  inside, and climbs in. Thelonious talks to the
  lizard and the Lizard tells him about the dragon
  lady. The lizard was talking to himself about his
  stuff and says I might get the ruby if I give
  her a nice chipmunk slave Thelonious heard and
  he ran. Thelonious finds himself in a railroad,
  and he walks. When he is out he sees a porcupine
  inside a book store, and goes in. He talks to the
  porcupine he learns that his name Is Fitzgerald.
  Then they go to the abandoned store to get
  clothes. They hear off a flying polar bear and go
  to there house. Fitz talks to the bear and asks
  to fly Thelonious back to the Untamed forest? She
  says sure. Thelonious tells the bear a bout a
  book and they go and get it. When they are about
  to leave to go to Fog Mound, they are attacked by
  the dragon lady, and her Ratminks. They get out
  and fly to the untamed forest, and Thelonious
  says good bye to his Family, and the Lizard asks
  if he can come along, they say sure and go to the
  Fog mound . They crash the plane and go through
  passages found on a map in the book. When they
  reach the mound the bear says hello and they
  party.

Why I loved this book

• I liked this book since I thought it was very
  silly. I also liked the way at the start of the
  book how there was shouting, it made want to see
  what it was about. Plus I liked how that the
  animals could do what they could.
